Up to $2,000 Toward Winter Tires on a New Ram or Jeep in Terrace

Buy a new 2026 Ram 1500 or Ram 3500 at Terrace Chrysler and we put a $2,000 parts and service credit toward a winter tire package. On a new 2026 Jeep Compass or Jeep Cherokee, the credit is $1,000. Both stack on top of the manufacturer discounts already on these trucks and SUVs.

Quick answer: Through September 30, 2026, Terrace Chrysler is adding a winter tire credit to new-vehicle purchases: $2,000 on a new 2026 Ram 1500 or Ram 3500, and $1,000 on a new 2026 Jeep Compass or Jeep Cherokee. The credit is applied to parts and service toward a winter tire package and stacks with up to $11,000 in available discounts on Ram and up to $6,000 on Jeep.

Why a winter tire credit matters in the Northwest

Quick answer: Winter tires or chains are required on most BC highways from October 1 to April 30. A legal winter tire carries the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol or an M+S marking and has at least 3.5 mm of tread. Most new trucks and SUVs arrive on all-season tires, so a winter set is a real cost for anyone buying this fall.

If you live in Terrace, Kitimat, Thornhill or anywhere along Highway 16, you are not debating whether to buy winter tires. You are deciding when, and how much it will cost on top of the vehicle. This offer covers most or all of that cost: the credit goes toward the tires, and our parts and service team handles the rest right here in Terrace.

A dedicated winter tire also does more than keep you legal. The softer compound stays pliable in the cold, which shortens stopping distances on packed snow and ice compared with an all-season tire. On a heavy truck like a Ram 3500, that difference shows up every time you brake with a load on.

Timing: changeover season is the busiest stretch of our service year. Buying now means your new Ram or Jeep leaves on winter tires instead of waiting for a service slot in late October.

How the offer works

  1. Choose a qualifying new vehicle. A new 2026 Ram 1500 or Ram 3500 earns the $2,000 credit. A new 2026 Jeep Compass or Jeep Cherokee earns the $1,000 credit.
  2. Available discounts apply first. Up to $11,000 on Ram and up to $6,000 on Jeep, depending on model and trim. Your sales consultant will show exactly what applies to the vehicle you pick.
  3. The credit goes toward winter tires. It is applied to parts and service at Terrace Chrysler toward a winter tire package for your new vehicle.
  4. Take delivery by September 30, 2026. The offer is tied to the current manufacturer rebate period.

Ram 1500 or Ram 3500?

For most buyers the Ram 1500 is the right truck. Its coil-spring rear suspension rides well empty and still tows a travel trailer or boat. Step up to the Ram 3500 when the trailer is a fifth-wheel, a heavy equipment deck or anything that pushes past half-ton ratings. Both earn the same $2,000 credit, and a heavy-duty winter tire set costs more, so the credit covers a bigger bill on the 3500. Our Ram 1500 research hub breaks down engines, towing and trims if you are still deciding.

Jeep Compass or Jeep Cherokee?

The Compass is the value way into a Jeep: a 200-hp 2.0L turbo with standard all-wheel drive on every trim. The all-new Cherokee is a size up, with a 1.6L turbo hybrid making 210 hp and 230 lb-ft, standard Jeep Active Drive I 4x4 and an estimated 6.4 L/100 km combined. If fuel cost matters on a long Highway 16 commute, drive the Cherokee.
